Happy New Year to all residents.
Just a quick update from us after a catch up with the management company before Christmas.
Town Centre. Please see attached graphic that shows progress in tenancy within the Town Centre. We have 3 units now undergoing fit out (Vanilla & Dreams, USalon and Kwai Feh). To follow soon will be an Italian Restaurant, Microbrewery and Dentist, contracts are being finalised. There will be an additional marketing push in February to continue progress in filling these units with a variety of appropriate operators.
Morrisons. There has been a noticeable delay in activity on site with a communication to suggest we will see plant machinery in January.
Transport. There will be communications within the next month on an updated travel plan to include updates on the bus route and bus stops to accommodate Great Parks expansion.
Roads. We understand that there will be continued discussions about the roads and planning in GP with the Consortium and NCC. We continue to communicate with relevant parties our concerns over the roads, planning and safety and want to ensure residents that it is on the agenda.
Service Charges. This has clearly been a difficult period for some residents and the management company. We have deliberately kept a distance from the legal aspects of the recent activity but again can assure residents that we have fed back our desire for improved communication and clarity on service charges in the future. We will work with the management company to support improvements in this area.
